Dozens of children, their parents and the Easter Bunny gathered at Citizens Park on March 31 for a glorious morning of Easter egg hunting.
At 10 a.m.,
Lydia Anderson
, Edgewater's Park and Recreation director, announced to the anxious kids they could fill thier baskets with as many eggs they could find with the magic words "Go!"
Hundreds of Easter eggs were spread throughout the park, which the egg hunters managed to gather in under five minutes.
Giselle Garcia
, 3, a resident of Wheat Ridge got help collecting eggs from her mother
Claudia
.
Denver residents
Jada Morago
, 5, and her brother
Jared Morago
, 4, filled their baskets with plenty of Easter goodies while enjoying the fresh air, sunshine and photos with the Easter Bunny.
Sadie Power
, 1, and big brother
Hayden Power
, 4, ran around the park with excitement after the festivities (and posing for a quick picture with their Easter baskets for
YourHub.com
).
