Lighting the night sky in Edgewater
Contributed by: Darlene Walter on 6/26/2006

Although Edgewater does not take up much space on earth (less than one mile total), when it comes to the annual 3rd of July Fireworks celebration, they lay claim to miles and miles of flash and fire in the sky!

Mayor Ronalda Goodner invites friends, family, neighboring cities and counties to join the over 5,000 celebrating Independence Day a little early. On Monday, July 3rd, vendors, entertainment and fireworks will all be in place at Citizens Park, West 24th and Chase streets, to assure that the holiday is greeted in style!

The music begins at 7:30, but bring a picnic basket and join us early. The presentation of fireworks will start at dusk.
