Jefferson High School invites the community to the fourth annual positive SPIN step competition at May 17 at Elitch Gardens. SPIN (supporting people in need) is a nonprofit organization based at Jefferson High School. Our step team TROOP (Total Respect Of Other People) is a violence-prevention group that preserves integrity, dignity and diversity within the Jefferson County School district. TROOP is locally acclaimed as the best step teams in the Jeffco School district. Led by step coaches Shirnae and Carl Mackey with Vs-style productions and Director Riley Robert Hawkins (MSW) and the Spin foundation and social worker at Jefferson High School.

The event will be held at Elitch Gardens at 11:30 a.m. May 17 with local music and dance entertainment along with free drawings and grab bags, plus Red Rocks Community College one of our sponsors will be giving away free scholarship awards. Step/Drill teams from all over the state will showcase their talent in front of official judges. Tickets are only $20 which allows you a discounted season pass.
