Smack That
Contributed by: Josie Harriman on 4/6/2007

Why would a 40-year old woman like myself deserve front row seats at a Colorado Crush game? Well............let me tell you my story!

I live in a VERY sports oriented family and love sports myself but I was not always that way. When I first met my husband over 20 years ago I knew nothing about sports. The first game we attended together was the Colorado Gold Football Team. I hardly knew anything about football so the most thrilling part for me was when Chicago (the band) played after the game.

I have since attended a Denver Bronco Football Game; sitting through a blizzard (I even had an icicle hanging from my nose by the end of the game), a Denver Nuggets Basketball Game sitting in the very top row. We were so high that the blimp that flies around and drops t-shirts was lower than us, several Colorado Rockies Games in which one game I was hit by a baseball, a Phoenix Coyotes Game in which I was hit in the leg with a puck, and two Colorado Crush games that were absolutely fun. I have also attended hundreds of basketball, football, baseball and volleyball games watching my children play and my husband coach (he is a High School football and basketball coach). As the years went on I learned many of the games(especially football and basketball) and learned to LOVE them. I am now a FANatic!

Although I have attended many, many sporting events, I have never in all these years had the opportunity to sit close enough to smack Damien Harrell on the booty!!

Please, please give me the chance.
