Camping reservations still available at state parks for Independence Day weekend
Eleven Colorado State Parks still have campsites available for the coming holiday weekend and day use is still an option at all state parks. Those wishing to camp in the great outdoors this coming weekend can make reservations at the following Colorado State Parks:

* Bonny
* Crawford
* Colorado River - Island Acres
* Eleven Mile
* Fruita
* John Martin
* Rifle Gap
* San Luis
* State Forest
* Vega
Reservations are available online at www.parks.state.co.us or by calling
(800) 678-2267 or (303) 470-1144 in the Denver area. Reservations at
Colorado State Parks can be made year-round, up to six months in advance and within at least three days of a desired arrival date. Depending on services provided, campground prices range from $7 to $22 per night.
Day use is always an option, and with 41 parks to choose from, Colorado
State Parks offer something for everyone. A wide variety of day use
activities range from picnicking, fishing, biking, horseback riding,
