Charmaine in the city
I've called the Denver area home for more than two
decades now. But this urban/mountain city is still full of surprises. I'll be posting my adventures here, as I explore local eateries, shops and sharing birthday and vacation photos. I knew it! All these months I've been downing Starbucks and Dazbog coffee and feeling guilty for the caffeine intake and loss of cash, I've actually been helping my overall health.
OK, I'll have to clarify: According to a

article
I saw this morning, coffee helps with brain function among older adults and particularly women. Memory loss associated with growing older can be essentially prevented with three cups of coffee a day, according to a four-year study. Unfortunately, there wasn't any benefit for men who drank coffee. (Sorry,

-- my coffee-getting buddies.)
So the $1.84 I spend at Starbucks for a tall iced vanilla coffee in a personal cup isn't a waste at all; I'm boosting my brain power. Great! Although, I keep forgetting where I put my electricity and cable bills ... and I can't remember whether I put food in
Chester
's bowl this morning ... and ...

Now I'm really scared. Just had my last Celestial Seasonings Marrakesh Express Vanilla Spice Hi-Energy bag and haven't been able to find another box at the grocery store. Must I travel to the factory for a new supply? Help me, fellow caffeinites.
