Blog Entry 47 of 108 Charmaine in the city

I've called the Denver area home for more than two
decades now. But this urban/mountain city is still full of surprises. I'll be posting my adventures here, as I explore local eateries, shops and sharing birthday and vacation photos. And once in a while, I'll throw in a music, movie or food review. I hope to keep this blog interactive, so don't be shy to suggest places I should visit. And check it out: I'm on Brendan's List. Rock on!

Dead last

OK, so I' ve accepted that I don't know how to choose winning basketball teams. Duke was a bad choice, but I've learned from my mistakes. Next time, I'll follow Brendan's lead and go by seed. That seemed to work for him.

Looking at my bracket recently, I've concluded that I do know how to pick my east and south teams better than west and midwest. You can see from the photo on the right that it's all red and crossed out on one side, but pretty much green and correct on the other. (You can click here to see a bigger version of it.)

According to Eric's latest blog about March Madness, I'm last on the list. Last. Technically, I'm "above" two brackets that weren't filled in, so they don't really count. I hope some of my other teams win big so I can move up. More games are lined up this week, so it may happen. I'll keep being hopeful and keep my fingers crossed.

Stay tuned.

Nevermind, I just checked my bracket and Texas A&M lost to Memphis. Darn.

Erin, I have no clue either, or else I should have picked Texas A&M to win the championship. Oh well, at least I've got chicken.

Bummer! I don't know anything about basketball, so I admire your efforts!

I have no idea what you said, but I like the way you say it.
