Episode 14: Can’t Colie get some respect?
Contributed by: Marcelo Duran   on 2/7/2007

"Stacy's cool, she's good looking and she's not a roommate."
-- Alex, on why he likes Stacy so much

Previously on the Real World: We reminisce about how much Colie and Alex liked each other a lot and then discover that they are good friends at best. She starts going out with Adam, but that further complicates her relationship with her ex-boyfriend from the bayou, Corey.

It's the Rodney Dangerfield episode where Colie is asking for nothing much but respect from Alex.

The crew is at Monarck, yet again. It looks like Alex made a friend named Stacy. The two seem to be getting along famously on the dance floor. After a bit they head to the House and say hello to Colie and Brooke.

Colie says that she is really drunk and tries to make Stacy feel as uncomfortable as possible. It appears she's a regular to the house since there was no formal introduction. Colie then lies to Alex and says that a girl called for him. Brooke breaks up the grill session and asks where Stacy gets her nails done since she is still on the quest to get her nails done.

Colie and Brooke doesn't like it when she hears other people have sex but they get and earful from upstairs. They start mocking Stacy's wails; Colie says it's disrespectful to her to have a girl so close to her.

Brooke says that she is faking it and lasted seven minutes. The two girls then proceed to drinking wine and cursing upstairs.

The next day Colie tells Jenn about the previous night and how rude she is and feels upset because she feels she was disrespected in her own house.
She starts out the conversation with Alex about how much he doesn't care about her and it's rude that he is bring home these girls and randomly brings home ladies. Alex keeps asking what he should do and she says nothing.

They begin to argue about how she would've had the courtesy to be more discreet. All she is asking for respect. She's upset by what she does and she doesn't want her to do anything, which is odd since she already has two boyfriends in her stable and it seemed like she moved on from Alex, but apparently not.

Colie loves to have guys around...
It's gossip time as Brooke tells Alex that he would be a good partner and says that Colie is very naïve and innocent with guys.

Alex theorizes that Colie needs to have some sort of male companionship. She is in the phone with Adam, but then we learn that nobody is allowed to date while working with Outward Bound. Chris has left a note on Adam's door, but instead of being discreet they decide to go out to eat to Sonoda.

Colie is attracted to Adam, kind, gentle a very nice person, but can he handle the crazy. Adam asks about Corey and she explains that she is broken up as boyfriend and girlfriend but is still attracted to each other and is coming to town and it might be the last week

Colie is not going back to New Orleans and he still has classes to finish. And she feels Adam is the best example of how she now needs to move on past her college fling.

After they finish dinner, hey head over to the house, where Brooke, Alex and Tyrie are getting read to paint the town. Adam appears uncomfortable, but then even more so as Colie breaks out the Scrabble set.

Brooke isn't too pleased with Adam since she says that he lost his job to be with a girl, and that's embarrassing.

Tyrie isn't sure why she needs all these men in her life, must be a crazy for attention.

Alex can't wait to tell Stacy about the new turn of events because he can now say to Colie how can she complain about Stacy if she is bringing someone home?

Let's be friends?
While Colie and Adam are innocently playing with each other the rest of the gang are at Spill and are dancing it up and Stacy arrives and she's told about the whole Colie/Adam/Corey situation.

They agreed to not talk to each other for a while and to continue on as friends. They kiss and part ways. Stacy and Alex decide that they are just going to have fun in a biblical sense all night.

They try to sneak in but Alex goes to ask Colie about her night, and more or less asks for permission to sleep with Stacy. Colie's on the phone with Corey and they can't wait to see each other and do the horizontal mambo.

She then says that she is uncomfortable and wants Alex to say what's on his mind so she isn't feel weird and stuff. She wants Alex to do what you want to do, but then she doesn't, which seems to be real confusing for 99 percent of us guys.

She likes Colie and asks why she is having sex with her, but because he likes her too. And then proceeds to the room to have said sex with Stacy.

Jenn shows up and proceeds to disturb Alex and Stacy and helps Stacy zip up her tight outfit. Colie then makes fun Stacy and says they aren't going to be the bestest of friends.

They talk about how he wouldn't have done the dirty deed if she told him not too. She doesn't know where she stands with Alex and he want to deal with the fact that she still has a boyfriend and doesn't want to be the third guy. It appears to be a wait and see situation

Some questions to ponder while dodging pot holes around town:

Does Adam think it's worth it to quit his job now they Colie just wants to be a "friend?"

Does Colie cheat at Scrabble?

Where was Davis?

How much money did Monarck give to MTV to be the party choice of the Real Worlders?

What's to come for the rest of the season: There is a lot of hook ups and dancing and kissing between Colie and Alex and Jenn wonders how she winds up in the middle. It looks like their getaway vacation is on some tropical beach where Brooke gets stung by a jellyfish and gets treatment in the disgusting sense. Davis and Brooke get into an argument on the Outward Bound trail. Tempers flare and Tyrie winds up in handcuffs and Brooke breaks down and has a hissy fit to beat all hissy fits.
