Englewood Public Library Has Gone to the Dogs

What:

Library teams up with Denver Pet Partners for Paws to Read program

Englewood Public Library has teamed up with Denver Pet Partners for their Paws to Read program, which pairs beginning or struggling readers with a supportive "pet partner." The young readers can practice their skills by reading to these specially trained dogs.

The program is held the 1st Sunday of each month, from 1:15-3pm; and the 3rd Saturday, from 12:00-2:00 pm. Paws to Read is intended for children age 12 and under, and pre-registration is required. Interested readers can register at the Library's Children's Desk or by calling 303-783-6960.

Where: Englewood Public Library's Story Time Room
When: 1st Sunday of each month, 1:15-3pm; 3rd Saturday, 12-2pm
Event Dates: This event takes place every Saturday, and Sunday from 12/2/2007 through 5/17/2008.
