This is mainly for the CDOT. Heres a lil help for snow plowing and the use of material to melt the snow/ice.
I'm from Maine and what threy do there to make sure snowplowing can get done properly. There MUST be Parking bans on city streets when there is a large storm coming like the 1 last week.
Hire people who have pickups or heavier trucks with plows so that all roads are plowed. I've only been living here since july and what the CDOT uses to (sand) streets isn't working.
Must use a mixture of sand and salt treatment.and if the reason for not using that is because of the drinking water, well never mind that cause u can't drink the city water anyway.
if the Money isn't there then find a way to raise it, such as raising taxes on ciggerettes and boooze lol. Now Now i'm a smoker myself right now. But that would be my suggestion. And most of all, u don't let snowplowing go unfinnished for a Holiday.
The street i live on is close to Sweetish hospital and across the street is a nursing home. So come on U CITY officials lets get going and do this the right way.
