With her hand off the mouse, she watched the cursor slowly move across the screen. She stood frozen in place, eyes wide open, mouth gaping as she watched in horror as the start menu opened itself. A notepad window suddenly appeared, the text read, "6-¦N=½??¼8˜å." Slowly, as if the demonized system might reset at any moment, she reached for the mouse. Wrapping her fingers around the base, she positioned the now under-control cursor over the window's 'X' button. "Gently...", she thought, feeling her index finger tense... "click." The sound echoed off the bare walls of the study.
Suddenly and without warning, Internet Explorer opened, assaulting her with explict images. The images defied explaination, she screamed and furously punched the power button on the monitor. In a nervious panic, she held down the control and alt keys, while pressing the delete button. Nothing happened. She tried again and again and again, but to no avail. The system was possessed now, there was nothing she could do. A tear fell from her cheek and she fell into the nearby chair. She then bent over, letting her head fall into her hands and broke down.
This woman was just one the the many unfortunate souls. Once her monitor began spinning around spewing it's insides, all she could do was go to the store and buy a new one.
