Contributed by: Laurie Anderson on 3/27/2008

The Colorado Region of Keller Williams Realty recently celebrated its 2007 success at its annual gala awards ceremony.

The DTC Market Center, 6300 S. Syracuse Way, took top honors as Market Center of the Year based on its net profit and the amount of profit that was shared with its agents. Led by Team Leader Jim Slinkard, the DTC Market Center also was recognized as the only office in the Colorado Region to receive Keller Williams Realty International's Platinum Market Center Awards. It received three Platinum Awards for gross commission income, total units sold and total profit share, and has achieved this ranking for four years.

Kay Bellhouse, Team Leader for the Boulder Market Center at 3005 Center Green Dr., was recognized as the Team Leader for the year based on the net number of new agents who joined the office, the percent change in profitability and community service.

Yvonne Gora of the Vail Market Center, 1140 Edwards Village Blvd. in Eagle, received the honor as Regional Rookie of the Year based on her sales achievement. Tawni Herold of the Longmont Market Center, 606 Mountain View Ave., was honored as the Market Center Administrator of the Year.

Jeff Morrell of the Colorado Springs East Market Center was given the Les Kay Inspirational Award for his work organizing numerous fundraisers to help the Woodhouse Family of Colorado Springs. The Woodhouses have a daughter with very special medical needs and last fall, the family was given a new home through the TV show "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition." The Les Kay Award is given each year to the agent who contributes most to his community.

"In spite of a shifted real estate market, we had many things to celebrate in 2007," says Keith Alba, operating principal for the Colorado Region of Keller Williams. "In addition to the many awards given to teams, groups and individuals, we shared more than $1.2 million in profits with agents in Colorado. We also expanded by adding Market Centers in Grand Junction and Conifer."

The Alvir Teamof Grand Junction led the awards for sales achievement at the Quadruple Platinum level. TEAMWerk Professionals of the Denver North Market Center in Westminster, Sanders and Associates of the Denver Downtown Market Center, Bonanza Team of the DTC Market Center and Perry Mischa of Colorado Springs were honored at the Double Platinum level.

With more than 79,000 agents and 659 franchised Market Centers in 45 states and provinces, Keller Williams Realty International is now America's fourth-largest and fastest-growing residential real estate company. Keller Williams Realty franchised the Colorado Region in 1993 and has succeeded by creating a unique agent-focused model that builds partnerships between agents and local ownership through participation in a life-long, profit sharing program.

In Colorado, the company has 28 locations and more than 2,800 agents. In 2007, Keller Williams agents achieved a sales volume of more than $3.5 billion. For more information, contact Colorado Region Operating Principal Keith Alba at 303-793-3888 or visit www.gokellerwilliams.com.
