"....and a Knight in Shining Armor rode up on his beautiful, powerful steed and rescued the princess...and they rode off together into the sunset to live happily ever after....
Being "fiftyish" and single for over 20 years, I was perfectly content with myself and my life just the way it was! I had "gone around the block" a few times and had finally resolved myself to the fact that I would live the rest of my life alone, without a partner. I was through with men!! That is, until one day while I was casually watering the shrubs in my front yard. I looked up to see someone driving slowly by my house in a shiny, blue Chevy pick-up truck. He drove by my house several times when I started getting a little nervous, wondering what this guy was up to! Just as I was ready to run into the house and call 911, he pulled over to the curb, parked and got out of his pickup.
I was mesmerized as I watched this gorgeous 6'3" man saunter up to where I was standing and casually say, "Hello, are you Cathy? I'm Denny. We have a mutual friend in Iowa who you went to high school with. Monita gave me orders to stop by and say, "Hello," to her spit-fire, red-headed friend, after I moved to Denver. So, Hello!"
Well, he said, "Hello" that first day and kept on saying "Hello" every day after that for the next year when we wed. We will be celebrating our 5th anniversary in April.
This is how I have always viewed my husband, our relationship, and our marriage. He is my Knight in Shining Armor who drove up in his shiny blue armored truck and rescued me, his princess, to live happily ever after. He is my companion, my lover, my very best friend. The final chapter to my fairy tale has been written....

I WOULD RATE THIS STORY AS A FIVE STAR, BECAUSE LOVE CAN FIND IT`S WAY NO MATTER WHAT A PERSONS AGE IS OR WHAT SHE HAD ENDURED BEFORE,
