Fight Illiteracy -- Be a tutor
Contributed by: Welcome Mezo on 1/24/2008

You can know the satisfaction of helping an adult find the wonderful world of books, prepare for a new career or promotion, or become self-sufficient.

Tutors are needed by McLain Community High School to work with adult students who have low reading and math skills. Tutors will receive free training and materials.

Tutoring is on a one-to-one basis and is conducted at one of three Jeffco schools or at public libraries. All students are from 18 to 80 years old (or over!).

For more information call Volunteer Coordinator Ann Mezo at 303-982-7488.
