Former University of Colorado President
Hank Brown reminded the Cherry Creek Schools community that the future of the country is in their hands.
Brown was the keynote speaker at the 14 th Annual Leadership for Tomorrow Luncheon
Fundraiser, held Mar. 6, benefiting the Cherry Creek Schools Foundation.
Brown applauded the community for supporting programs such as Reading Together because the students in our schools today will eventually become our country's leaders.
The Foundation raised more than $200,000 to fund Reading Together and other programs that impact student achievement. Reading Together helps elementary school students develop reading and leadership skills.
The Foundation staff, Executive Director
Gaye Leonard and Assistant
Tina Meyer, planned the luncheon with help from volunteers.
