Overland High School student Natalie Forn is this year's recipient of the Monte Moses Scholarship for future educators.
"I am especially proud of Natalie's decision to pursue education - she will be a true asset to the profession. Of all the students that I have encountered in my eight years as a teacher, I believe that she is the most deserving of this scholarship in terms of academic promise, outstanding leadership and immense care for humanity...." said Joe Welborn, Overland High School math teacher.
The $5,000 scholarship, sponsored by the Cherry Creek Schools Foundation, is designed to enable a student to attend a four year college or university in Colorado and obtain a professional education degree in education.
