EHS Wind Ensemble invited to state contest

Englewood High School Wind Ensemble Invited to State Contest

The Englewood High School Wind Ensemble, by virtue of its "Superior" rating at the Colorado Bandmasters Association Metro Qualifying Contest, has been invited to perform at the CBA State Contest, to be held on Monday and Tuesday, April 21 - 22, at Griffin Concert Hall within the University Center for the Arts, on the campus of Colorado State University in Ft. Collins.

Over 70 high schools bands competed in the four regional qualifying contests held last week throughout the state, and of those seventy bands, only twenty four were selected to move on. Englewood was one of only three 3A (CBA Classification) bands selected to advance, and has the smallest enrollment of any of the selected bands. The following is the list of invited bands...
