We are having the monthly Fabulous First Friday Reception on May 4th from 5:00to 8:00 PM. If you have not been in the gallery this a great time to do so. Stop in after work to share in our reception and look at the exceptional art from our 24 members.

Precious Metal Clay
Saturdays May 5th and May 12th

Precious-metal clay is a new material that allows you to create with a pliable clay-like material that transforms to pure silver when it is fired. We will be using many textures to create pendants and other unusual silver pieces. Choose from earrings, buttons, a pin or pendant. First, you will make a porcelain piece for practice, then move on to the silver. The second class meeting you will finish off your pieces and add beads and findings to leave with a finished piece of jewelry. One/half ounce of silver will be provided for your projects. Please bring a $25 materials fee to the first class for the silver.
All tools and findings are included in the class price of $50.
Dates: Saturdays afternoon, from 2-4:30 Saturdays May 5th and May 12th

In celebration of National Herb Week, a free seminar "Herbs for Healthy Skin" will be presented by Cindy Jones, Ph.D. from Sagescript Institute, LLC. Cindy will talk about what herbs are useful for skin care, how they are used as well as gardening tips for these herbs. Enjoy an herbal facial as well! The seminar will be at the Art-Nic Gallery and reservations are suggested. Art-Nic is located at 3995 South Broadway in Englewood Colorado (Denver).
