EHS student creates a stainless steel legacy
Contributed by: Teresa Harper on 5/16/2008

While the educational community continues to cut vocational programs, there are still a few schools that promote hands on creativity. Englewood High School senior Ray Gray loves to work with metal. With the help of Frank Stanek, long time woodshop and metal works teacher, and his place of employment Kloppenberg & Company located at 2627 W Oxford Avenue in Englewood;

Ray has left EHS a stainless steel legacy.

Ray used stainless steel, and laser cutters-etchers to create the amazing podium. Kloppenberg & Company donated all of the materials.
