Come join us at the McDonald's franchise located at 16890 E. Quincy Avenue (at Buckley Road) in Aurora. This location is showing its support for Developmental Pathways by providing a place to have some fun, enjoy McDonald's food, and raise much needed money for Developmental Pathways programs. Pathways will receive 20% of the proceeds of everything purchased at the Quincy and Buckley location between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm on July 17, 2007! The money raised will go directly to programs that serve people with developmental disabilities.
Several clients of Developmental Pathways work at the McDonald's located at Quincy and Buckley Road as well as other McDonald's restaurants around the metro community. Their job duties range from preparing McDonald's four new premiere salads and yogurt parfaits, to wiping tables, sweeping floors, and much more.
Let's all head to McDonald's at Quincy and Buckley Road between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm on Tuesday, July 17, 2007. Stop by, have something to eat, and support individuals with developmental disabilities!
Developmental Pathways is a Colorado non-profit agency created to serve persons with developmental disabilities and their families. It was established in 1964 as a community-based alternative to institutional care. Since that time, Pathways has developed a broad array of services based on the principle that full inclusion and participation in community life is attainable for every individual with a developmental disability.
