Cinderella's Pumpkin Patch in Englewood, CO has been awarded a first place honor in the national "patch appeal" contest sponsored by Pumpkins USA, a national sponsor of fundraising based pumpkin patches, headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina. The judging criteria for the national "patch appeal" contest includes creative decorating ideas and overall patch appeal, setup/arrangement of the pumpkin patch, family orientation of the patch and strategies for community participation. "Our focus is to create an atmosphere of fantasy where families can have fun together and build great memories. Receiving this honor brings a refreshed eagerness to the opening of the patch this year," Larsen enthused. Cinderella's pumpkin patch offers facepainting, crafts, puppet shows, pumpkin putt-putt and other family friendly events.
Cinderella's Pumpkin Patch is an annual fundraising effort sponsored by the nationally award winning Reachin', Teachin', Preachin' Hands puppet team at Grace Chapel in Englewood. The team is comprised of youth ages 12 and above who each accrue over 200 hours of community service per year while on the team. They work year-round to bring messages of hope, love and the importance of good life choices to children and families, especially those traumatized by poverty, abuse or neglect.
Cinderella's pumpkin patch is anticipating record crowds this season and will be open daily from October 14 th through the 31 st from 10:00 am to dark.
