Love thy neighbor
Contributed by: Scott Cochran on 2/14/2007

It was 6th grade and a new girl moved in across the street from my house. We fell in love right away - well I was in love.

Kim, she played hard to get. We went through junior high school as friends. Sharing a few make out sessions here and there. It was 9th grade when things got more serious. We dated all through 9th & 10th grades.

I broke her heart and she broke mine a few times during these years. All the usual juvenile fights we went through. So many love notes and so little time. 11th grade was a blur, not much happened with the relationship, we were immature really.

Our Senior year, I dated a cheerleader and she dated my best friend. Oh, the pain. Women do know how to get even, trust me. Graduation, College and then in 1989, I proposed. We were married in 1990. It was meant to be and five kids later we are still madly in love. I love you Kim Cochran!
