Englewood Schools' Board of Education is very pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Mandy Braun as the principal of the new Englewood middle school. Ms. Braun is currently the principal of Flood Middle School.

Ms. Braun has successfully served as Flood's Principal for two years and has the ability to provide the necessary leadership to take the new middle school in a positive direction. Ms. Braun will be instrumental in implementing the new middle school programs and creating a positive environment as the District merges staff and students.

Englewood Schools will be closing Flood Middle School and opening a new middle school in the Sinclair Middle School building for the 2007-2008 school year. The increased enrollment at the new school will create opportunities for students that were not possible in the current middle schools.The district is revising curriculum and programs for the new school that will redesign middle level education in Englewood.

The Board looks forward to the successful implementation of many new options for students at the new school.They are confident that Ms. Braun will provide creative and positive leadership.
