Contributed by: Marilyn Spittler on 10/22/2006

Youth at Cinderella's Pumpkin Patch work to meet the needs of area neighbors.

Cinderella's Pumpkin Patch announces its newest service to its southeast metro business, church and school neighbors. The award winning pumpkin patch will now offer free delivery service for paid pumpkin orders in quantities of 25 or more.

Patch organizer Kimi Larsen states, "We've received requests from both schools and businesses in need of large quantities of pumpkins and we are happy to meet those needs. Customers can pay for their pumpkins via PayPal or can pay by check upon delivery. We will deliver their order to their location for no additional delivery fee."

Pumpkins are a great choice for businesses wishing to decorate their facilities for fall and also for employee rewards and client gifts. Churches planning fall festivals or carnivals can decorate for their event and can also use pumpkins as prizes. Cinderella's Pumpkin Patch has clean, beautiful pumpkins in a wide range of sizes and price ranges to meet an assortment of needs.

Schools in need of pumpkins for educational purposes and social events are also encouraged to take advantage of this unique delivery service. "Pumpkins offer great educational opportunities in areas of math, science, art and cooking/life sciences", Larsen stated. They also add the perfect touch to fall festivals and carnivals.

Cinderella's Pumpkin Patch is a fundraising endeavor of The Reachin', Teachin', Preachin' Hands, a youth performance ministry at Grace Chapel in Englewood. This group of young people earn approximately 200 hours of community service per member, per year rehearsing and touring throughout the metro area. Their performances are designed to bring messages of joy, hope and love to children and families, especially those from backgrounds of abuse, poverty and neglect. The funds raised in the pumpkin patch help fund production costs and will assist the team in attending a week-long training event this summer in Bourbonnais, Illinois, just south of Chicago.

The patch is located at Grace Chapel, 8505 S. Valley Highway, Englewood, CO, across the interstate from Park Meadows Shopping Center and adjacent to the east side County Line Road RTD light rail station. To schedule a delivery of 25 pumpkins or more, or for more information on the pumpkin patch, call Marilyn Spittler at 303.791.3313.

Cinderella's Pumpkin Patch is open daily with games, crafts and pumpkin sales, with special events scheduled each weekend.
