Englewood citizens, merchants and the Chamber of Commerce are planning an amazing show on Saturday September 8.
The main events will be a vehicle show with classic cars, motorcycles, monster trucks, military vehicles, antique tractors and stationary engines; the Taste of Englewood food venue; a dog show; live music with 3 music groups Buck Wild, Aquasonics and Strings Attached; a sidewalk sale; a tribute of Veterans and First Responders;and a bikini car wash and fashion show.
Cruisin' Dave, celebrating his 40th anniversary as a car show person will MC. We will have a paint the van event for artists with the proceeds going to the House of Hope women's shelter.A portion of the profits from the show itself will go to the Interfaith Task Force.
We are bringing back an old Englewood tradition begun in 1911 when Englewood was a rural farming community and the citizens got together fora harvest party.
The event will be centered in the 3400 block of South Broadway and will go from 9am to 4pm.
