Broken Tee fully open
Contributed by: Kristin Morin/YourHub.com on 7/2/2008

Four players and two carts took on hole six in the front nine.

This isn't the beginning of one of those dreaded math word problems, just the course of events June 27 at Broken Tee Golf Course, 2101 W. Oxford Ave. in Englewood.

The golf course, which originally opened in 1982, has recently re-opened its front nine holes, par-3 course and driving range.

Tom and Monica Stockham, Ralph Swygert and Tony Soria, all of Littleton, wore some of the first golf shoes to set on the newly manicured fairways.

The foursome said they were enjoying the new course.

"We're going to play again Sunday," Swygert said before taking off with his companions to tee off and tackle hole seven.
