Incidents reported by Englewood Police Department
Englewood police and fire rescue
responded to a report of a possible structure fire at Frame de Art, 3065 S. Broadway at 7:02 p.m. Aug. 2. According to reports, a 1996 Toyota Camry was on fire in the alley behind the store. The fire was put out and the business was not damaged, according to reports. A 2003 Honda Civic parked nearby was damaged by the heat from the fire, according to reports. The damage to the Camry was estimated at $2,600; the damage to the Civic was estimated at $2,500.
Englewood police responded
to a report of a burglary at a home on the 200 block of West Hillside Drive at 7:37 a.m. Aug. 1. According to reports, a woman told police someone had entered her garage and stolen her briefcase and wallet from her Ford station wagon. The car was not locked, according to reports.
Incidents reported by Cherry Hills Police Department
Cherry Hills police
responded to a report of a theft on the 4000 block of South Dexter Street on July 30. According to reports, a 46-year-old Denver woman reported that some personal property had been stolen from her red Mitsubishi Montero. Cherry Hills police had no suspects at the time of the report.
At about 11 p.m. Aug. 1, Cherry Hills police officers
responded to a noise complaint on the 900 block of East Bellview Avenue. According to reports, the officers heard loud music and saw beer bottles thrown all over the yard. Officers issued a 19-year-old Centennial man, a 20-year-old Englewood woman and a 19-year-old Parker man summonses for illegal consumption of alcohol. Additionally, a summons was issued to a 19-year-old Cherry Hills Village man for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and illegal consumption of alcohol.
Cherry Hills police officer
s saw two cars racing down the 4000 to 2800 blocks of East Hampden Avenue on July 24. According to reports, a red Ford hatchback and a white Ford Escort were driving 60 to 65 mph in a 45 mph zone. Both drivers, a 22-year-old Englewood man and a 17-year-old Utah man, received citations, police said.
