Northbound I-25 closed after accident

The Broomfield Police Department has closed northbound I-25 between the Northwest Parkway and Highway 7 today at 3:29 p.m. There are multiple car accidents and as many as 50 cars may be involved. There isn’t any word on the number or severity of injuries. An update will follow when more information is available.
