MaxFund cat of the week: Miku
Contributed by: MaxFund on 5/26/2006

Hi,

My name is Miku. I am a 4-year old spayed female. I am a tabby with short hair.

My owner couldn't take care of me anymore, so I ended up here at the MaxFund. I don't know why, because I am very sweet and soft. The people here at the MaxFund tell me I'm a very lovable little girl.

I enjoy petting very much. I am not demanding, but when you start to pet me, I like it! I just won't make a stink trying to make you pet me. I am a small kitty, so I won't get in the way. Will you please come get me and rescue me? I am a good girl.

Please come see me at the MaxFund, 1025 Galapago Street, Denver, CO 80204, 303-595-4917. I am in the Windows Room. It costs $50 to adopt me, and that includes current shots except rabies. This also includes my being chipped, and I am already spayed.

The MaxFund is a non-profit organization that was established in 1988 to provide medical care for injured pets with no known owners, and to seek out new homes for these animals once they have recovered. The MaxFund is a no-kill dog and cat shelter. MaxFund assists hundreds of people and animals each year by trying to make the correct match between owner and pet.

The MaxFund is a TRUE no-kill shelter. There is no pre-sorting of animals into "adoptable" and "non-adoptable" categories, discarding the so-called "unadoptable." The MaxFund takes every animal it has the space for. EVERY animal is kept until its owner is found or it is placed in a new adoptive home.
