Let me tell you all about the Hole in the Wall Gang. Five members are involved and have been involved in this true story for at least 20 years.
The members are notorious for having fun wherever and whenever they go somewhere. One favorite haunt has been Coors Field since it opened in 1995.
Different seat locations have developed but mostly now it involves day games
during the week.
Baseball venues started with the Zephers games at Mile Hi Stadium with squirt guns and and fun at businessmen specials on Wednesday afternoons. Playing
hookey from work seemed like the best thing to have fun...watching baseball with
the Hole in the Wall Gang.
Mostly the Hole in the Wall Gang enjoyed skiing in the winter on Wednesdays at
Copper Mountain...with any and all discounted tickets possible riding up to the
B-lift clubhouse in a limo. Breakfast was a rumple mintz snapps and pastry, then
up to the Double Diamonds runs.
Biking in the summer was similar with runs like Ride the Rockies and Courage
Classic. Roger P. was the limo man.Skip S. was the wild front runner, in skiing
and biking. Jim R. was the athlete without doubt. I had the courage to keep up
and pick up all the yard sales after the wipeouts.
Now the bones are starting to creak a little, and the Hole in the Wall Gang would
like another hole in the wall with a luxury suite at the Coors field on September 30, 2007 so they can bring their wives and watch the finale of the season with
the Diamondbacks @ 1:05 PM.
Skip will be back from Munich, Germany and Octoberfest and ready to go.
Roger will be back from Detroit, Michigan and business trip and ready to go.
Tom M. will be back from Montana from vacation and focused. Jim R. will be back from Dillon on vacation and ready to suit up.
And I will back from African Safari and ready to bring my trophy wife.
Not to mention the other four wives ready for some baseball and a good time
with two guests to be determined.
The Hole in the Wall Gang is on deck to receive the Rockies Suite on Sept. 30,
2007!
