Broncos going to Motown
Contributed by: David Fritschen on 1/20/2006

The Denver Broncos beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 31-17 and have earned a trip to Superbowl XL in Detroit on February 5. Denver came out ready to play and proved to a nationally televised audience that they are for real. The Broncos controlled the tempo of the game on both sides of the ball and sealed the victory on a 48 yard TD pass from Jake Plummer to Rod Smith. Plummer showed why he is nicknamed "Jake the Snake" by evading 2 defenders and hitting Smith on the run. Denver won this game despite all the doubts across the league by playing as a team, and by doing so will be going back to the big show for the 6th time.
