Here is a poem I composed as to why the Bronco's will win this weekend, and claim their AFC throne. I wrote it, with my wife, to give a Steeler's fan here at work a hard time:
The Broncos are psyched, there’s no trip to the dome,
Manning, once again, will be watching from home.
And Brady, as well, will be resting this week
As the Steelers fall victim to the home winning streak.
Here the air is thin and the lungs get tight,
You wouldn’t be here if Vanderjagt wasn’t so right.
Big Ben will get clocked and the bus will be stopped,
And with Polamalu’s long hair the field will be mopped.
Could the Steeler’s leave here with the big upset win?
Not by the hair of Cowher’s chinny-chin chin.
Their offense will sputter and the Steel Curtain crumble,
And count on Bettis for another clutch fumble.
Shannahan out-thinks Cowher, on that place your bets,
Pittsburgh fans wipe their tears on their Terrible Towlettes.
“We’re Going to Detroit!” Denver fans flood the streets,
“Yinz aint goin’ nowhere, you’re Stiller’s been beat!”
