University of Colorado at Colorado Springs golfer John Scott, of Englewood, was named to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference's 2006 men's preseason All-RMAC team. Last year the school took first place in the RMAC, and is ranked first in the preseason poll.

Scott, a junior from Englewood High School, is majoring in professional golf management. He was named all-state his senior year in high school and is a five-time Colorado Junior Golf Association all star.
