LARAMIE, Wyo. -- Cherry Creek grads put their stamp on this year's Border War.
Derrick Levy
scored his first collegiate touchdown on a 44-yard touchdown catch and
Aric Goodman
kicked a 34-yard field goal as Wyoming shutout conference rival Colorado State 24-0 on Oct. 21.
Wyoming won the the traveling trophy, the
Bronze Boot
, for the first time since 2003 and for only the second time in the last eight seasons.
Mullen graduate
Michael Ford
added a 26-yard touchdown reception from Karsten Sween for UW.
Luke Roberts
, a Golden High grad, had three catches for 51 yards for Colorado State.
Wyoming, sporting the nation's third-ranked defense, shut out their inter-state rivals for the first time 1959.
Colorado State (4-3, 1-2 Mountain West Conference) hosts New Mexico on Oct. 28 at 3:30 p.m. The Cowboys (4-4, 3-1 MWC) visit TCU that night with a 5:30 p.m. MST start.

In addition to being from Wyoming, having gone to school at Laramie, and having a standing "Border War" bet with a friend at work, I also know one of the defensive ends (Aaron Robbins) for that STELLAR defense that shut out Lubick and the Rams. So I don't mean it lightly when I say W-Y-O!!
