Financial support of student athletes
Contributed by: Sue Bertram on 10/26/2006

The Littleton High School Novemberfest will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2006. Located in the gym and cafeteria at Littleton High School, the evening activities will begin at 5:00 p.m. with the silent auction. Sponsored by the Lions Sports Booster Club, Novemberfest is the largest single athletic fundraiser of the year. The 21 individual sports teams solicit donations from the community for the silent and live auctions.

The live auction will begin at 9:15 p.m. The sponsoring team receives 100% of the proceeds from the auctions. Last year's auctions raised more than $63,000 from over 700 offered items. The evening will include a taco bar catered by Qdoba Mexican Grill. Dinner will be served from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tickets for the dinner cost $7.50 each and are currently being pre-sold.

The hilarious "Lions Follies" talent show begins at 6:00 p.m. Throughout the evening, the Parent Teacher Organization dessert and coffee bar will be available, with funds raised designated for the after-prom party in the spring. Past patrons know that Novemberfest is the best one-stop holiday shopping available. If you would like to donate to the auctions, purchase dinner tickets, or have questions regarding the evening contact the Littleton High School Athletic Director, Butch Risoli at 303-347-7700.
