ENGLEWOOD - Joe Lammers and Jarrod Wiggins' goals in the first 10 minutes of the Class 3A state soccer semifinal held up as Denver Christian chopped down Aspen 2-1 on Nov. 2 at Englewood High School Pirate Field.

The Crusaders will face Faith Christian in the championship on Nov. at 7:15 p.m, also at Pirate Field.

The two teams tied 1-1 in a game on Sept. 27.

DC is looking for its first championship since 1997.

Baker Boyd had the lone goal for Aspen.
