Oct. 27 Web host: Prez stumps for wrong candidate
Contributed by: YourHub.com on 10/27/2006

Good morning,

It seems many Republican candidates in this mid-term election are hesitant about having the President come out to support them on the campaign fearing that he may drive away voters. That's certainly a valid concern, but another is that he just might refer the candidate he's stumping for by the wrong name, as he did for Jeff Lamberti, a congressional candidate in Iowa. It seems that throughout his speech, President Bush referrred to Lamberti as "Dave." Oops. Well, he still helped raise $400,000 for the guy.

Anyway, I'm Kevin Hamm, a community journalist at YourHub.com I'm live on the site today and available to help you post something and answer any questions you might have. You can e-mail me at hammk@YourHub.com or call me at 303-954-5315.
