I realize it's about a week late, but I was rummaging through old piles of junk during some downtime at the office and found this fax from the Pitkin County Sheriff's Office about Hunter S. Thompson's suicide Feb. 20, 2005.

Speaking of Thompson, a big thumbs down to Flying Dog Brewery for its continuing migration as far east of Aspen as possible.

Speaking of beer, a big thumbs up to Mountain Sun Brewery for opening a Denver location.

I'm bugging my roommate to send me some snowboarding photos we took on his camera during all the snowstorms, but he hasn't gotten to it yet, so I'll post them when I get them.

I still haven't taken my camera out many times, as I've starting practicing rails and park in addition to buttering, and I'm still falling a lot. I had my camera and tripod ready for the lunar eclipse last week, but it was too cloudy to get anything good.

I'd like to get some video this spring after some more practice, but that depends on getting someone to film me. It should be easier as we get some more bluebird days with less powder potential.
