The ByrdHouse Holiday Light Show
Contributed by: Randall Byrd on 12/17/2006

Holiday light displays are a tradition in the Byrd Family and the familyhas been lighting up the holiday nights for over 30 years. Since moving to Erie three years ago, we have decorated our home and provided a computer controlled, animated lightshow, sequenced to music, for the enjoyment of our family and the community. Our display this year is a bit smaller than normal to keep the electric costs down, however it still has 7 inflatables, over 10,000 lights and we have three, 30 minute nightly shows sequenced to music from The Trans Siberian Orchestra, Johnny Mathis singing Silver Bells, and other Holiday Favorites. The music is broadcast over 89.1 FM and also on outside speakers. We use the Light-O-Rama system to run everything and it really makes the holiday nights jump! See the lights at 1740 Drinkwater Court. Happy Holidays to all from the Byrd Family!
