Contributed by: Alicia Olson on 6/21/2006

Vista Ridge, a 923-acre golf course community in Erie, is hosting its annual Fourth of July Celebrations on Monday, July 3. The festivities begin at 5 p.m. with music, food and family entertainment including a climbing wall, bungee trampolines, an inflatable bouncy Shrek and an obstacle course. The local fire and police departments will also be displaying fire engines, ambulances and squad cars, along with presenting a water-show and K-9 unit demonstrations.

The largest fireworks display on the Front Range follows the family activities at approximately 9:30 p.m. Seating is available on Vista Ridge Golf Club's practice facility and driving range. The event is free and open to the public and free parking is available within the Vista Ridge community.

Vista Ridge is located at 2700 Vista Parkway in Erie, just two miles west of I-25 on Highway 7. Take I-25 five minutes north of 120th to exit 229. Then head west for two and one-half miles.
