U.S. 36 lane closures at Superior

McCaslin US 36 Interchange Improvements are still in progress along with the new Pedestrian Bridge.

Closures:

Thursday night, Oct. 13, 8 p.m. to Friday morning, Oct. 15, 5 a.m., single lane closure on both eastbound and westbound U.S. 36.

NOTE: The following total closures on U.S. 36 may be rescheduled by one week depending on the time for the CU football game.  Please check all media for any changes.

9 p.m. Saturday night, Oct. 22, to 5 a.m. Sunday morning Oct. 23, both lanes of U.S. 36 west from the McCaslin Boulevard Interchange to Boulder, the westbound on ramp along with the bus stop, and the eastbound off ramp along with the bus stop will be closed to erect the New Pedestrian Bridge crossing; McCaslin Boulevard, both northbound and southbound, will remain open along with the westbound off ramp, eastbound on ramp, and the eastbound on loop ramp.

9 p.m. Saturday night, Oct. 29 to 5 a.m. Sunday morning Oct. 30, both lanes of U.S. 36 west from the McCaslin Boulevard Interchange to Boulder, the westbound on ramp along with the bus stop, and the eastbound off ramp along with the bus stop will be closed to place concrete for the New Pedestrian Bridge deck; McCaslin Boulevard, both northbound and southbound, will remain open along with the westbound off ramp, eastbound on ramp, and the eastbound on loop ramp.

Detours for east and west bound traffic during these U.S. 36 closure periods will be to Colorado 128 to Colorado 93 or South Boulder Road.  Westbound U.S. 36 traffic can use the Interlocken exit to South Boulder Road or Colorado 128 to Colorado 93.  Eastbound traffic can use Colorado 93 to Colorado 128 to McCaslin Boulevard or to Interlocken Loop, or South Boulder Road to McCaslin Boulevard.  If you have any questions on the U.S. 36 total closures or detours, please contact Edward Kraemer & Sons at 303-688-7500.

Please note that this schedule is subject to change daily due to inclement weather or other unforeseen condition.  Check the Town of Superior’s website or CDOT’s road construction information for immediate updates.
