Sarrah Mosman
and
Gina Murray
stayed up until 1:30 a.m. Jan. 13 writing the reasons why they deserved free tickets to the Broncos-Patriots playoff game on Jan. 14. At 2 p.m.,
YourHub.com
made them very happy Broncos fans.
The ladies showed up at
YourHub.com
World Headquarters in matching "Raider Hater" shirts to get their tickets from YourHub.com Managing Editor
Travis Henry
.
Mosman and Murray received free tickets and free on-field passes for their
entry
, which asked "How many fans do you know that would have Broncos sign their name on their flesh and then go directly to the tattoo shop to have it applied permanently?"
Now we know two. Both ladies have the signatures of Broncos past and present
Ashley Lelie
,
Bradlee Van Pelt
,
Ed McCaffrey
,
Karl Mecklenburg
,
Bill Romanowski
,
Michael Anderson
, and
Ruben Jones
on their left calf. They estimate they've each spent around $1,000 for the tattoos. "We might as well have something to show for it," Gina said.
Mosman recently put off a hospital visit to watch the Broncos finish off the Buffalo Bills. Her doctor recommended she head to the emergency room for surgery on her ear, but she waited until the game was over. "And of course, we won," she said.
The ladies say every Sunday during football season starts with their daughters,
Marinia
,
JoAnna
, and
Teiara
, going to church, and then sitting down to watch the Broncos games. Whenever they get a chance to do something as a family, they take the girls to a game or something else Broncos-related. Like writing their entry for the playoffs tickets until 1:30 in the morning.
"If the kids were old enough, we'd let them go instead of us," Murray said.
After tomorrow's game, Mosman and Murray will be posting photos and a story about their experience on
YourHub.com
. Be sure to check back and see if they've gotten any new signatures.
YourHub.com
provided the tickets, but is not liable for any extra tattoos incurred in the course of the game.
