Applewood Plumbing, Heating & Electric Goes Crazy
& Gives away $12,000 in 12 months!

There may be an influx of "pay it forward" efforts today, but Applewood Plumbing, Heating & Electric paved the way more than a year ago with their "Crazy 12 for 12" campaign to support local nonprofits by providing $12,000 in 12 months.

The program is kicking off again on April 1, 2007 - no fooling! As part of an introduction of their new web site, Applewood will begin presenting their community checks to local nonprofits nominated by area residents.

"It is a real opportunity to have an impact with the smaller organizations where $1,000 can really make a powerful difference," said John Ward, owner of Applewood Plumbing, Heating & Electric. "Last year's Crazy Campaign helped thousands with needed programs, resources and educational opportunities."

Nominations can be submitted at the Applewood web site blog, www.applewoodfixit.com. Winners are selected from a random drawing each month and recognized on the company's web site. Previous winners include: Hope House, Wheat Ridge Foundation, Lost & Found, Colorado Freedom Memorial, Metro Food Bank and the Jefferson Symphony among others.

Applewood Plumbing, Heating & Electric has served the entire Denver/Boulder Metro areas for more than 34 years.
