The Colorado Assembly may once again have to choose between schools and prisons.
Referendum C put off the Day of Reckoning, but the wolf is back at the door again.
Colorado's bloated prison system has been growing faster than Colorado's education system for about twenty years now.
Colorado is broke, and the
bank robbery contemplated by the Colorado Assembly to cover the deficit may have been
headed off at the pass by AG John Suthers.
Which will the Democrats and Republicans choose be if push comes to shove? Schools? or prisons?
