I've been reading in the "mainstream" press that Obama has disappointed many who voted for him in hope of change, as I, too, did.
Obama hasn't disappointed me. In my November 6, 2008 YourHub entry titled "
One libertarian candidate's take on the election" I wrote:
President Obama will have to govern. And one suspects that he and his victorious Democrats will be the ones to tell you: We ain't pulling out of Iraq, you ain't getting your civil liberties back, and by the way, your taxes are going up and your jobs are going away.
As you can see, Pres. Obama has not disappointed me. I suspect that the disappointed folks are those who thought they were being promised
real change instead of merely
stylistic change.
