There is still a good layer of snow on the ground here at 7,240 altitude, but the sun is shining, so it has that dappled look to it.
The deer are here, calmly nibbling, at what, I am not really sure. The ground still looks pretty dry out here.
If the forecast calls for rain, I figure that's a good thing. I hardly think a couple of wimpy snowfalls we had recently will make up for what's supposed be snow melt at this time of year.
I think I saw daffodils blooming in Lakewood.
If that happened here, I think it would be the top item on the deer buffet menu.
