http://www.rockymountainnews.com/news/2008/jul/20/deadly-denial/ is a fine piece of summary journalism keeping readers posted on a long-running drama, the plight of the aging nuclear workers being cheated out of their health compensation by Uncle Sam.

My son asked me once, "Dad, I'm not interested in politics, but maybe I should be. Do you think I'll ever get interested?"

I told him, "You'll get interested in politics when you have a mortgage and kids in school and start to notice government's ability to screw up everything it touches."
