Center for the Arts Evergreen is pleased to announce that the Summerfest Arts Festival has a new home. It is moving to a more visible location at the recreational athletic fields at Buchanan Park, located at Evergreen Parkway and Squaw Pass Road.
Summerfest Arts Festival will be held July 19th - 20th, 2008. It is a spectacular arts and crafts festival that has had a rich heritage in Evergreen for the past 27 years and we are excited to continue the tradition in the new location. The festival has more than 100 artisans from all over the country selling their one-of-a-kind artwork. Other activities include performances by local musicians, dancers, and community groups as well as a children's creative area where children can make wonderful works of art.
The new spacious location allows for more convenient parking, all within walking distance of the festival. It is highly visible from the main highway, which will attract more visitors. In addition, Center for the Arts Evergreen is adjacent to the festival, allowing visitors to explore the facility filled with artwork from local artists.
