Celebración del Corazón - Funding for Food

What:	Celebración del Corazón (Celebration of the Heart) is a fundraiser celebrating Community Ministry's 40 years of service to the Denver community. Proceeds will go to support the efforts of Community Ministry to meet the basics needs of qualified people in Southwest Denver who are experiencing economic hardships and related problems. Community Ministry of Southwest Denver meets these needs by providing an emergency food and clothing bank. Utilities assistance is provided with funding from Energy Outreach Colorado. School supplies, Christmas gifts for children and Holiday food baskets are also provided by Community Ministry. Anne Trujillo of 7News is the honorary chairperson for Celebración del Corazón. Manuel Lopez Latin Jazz Project with the MC DJ Kiss will provide entertainment. Activities include a silent auction, dancing, Latin dance demonstrations, piñata, face painting, airbrush tattoos and a children's craft corner. Mexican appetizers will be served and a cash bar provided. Tickets may be purchased online at www.comministry-denver.org
