Free July 4th Kids' Fishing Clinic

What:	Free July 4th Kids' Fishing Clinic A free fishing clinic for children ages 6 to 14 will be held July 4 at Evergreen Lake beginning at 10 a.m. and continuing until 2 p.m. A section of the lake just south of the Lake House will be stocked with trout by the Division of Wildlife especially for this annual event and reserved just for the kids. Members of Evergreen Trout Unlimited will offer instruction in fishing safety, ecology and fishing technique. All gear and supplies are provided, along with help as needed casting and fishing. Sign-in will be the day of the event adjacent to the Lake House, with groups rotating through the fishing area about every 45 minutes. Admission to other July 4th events at the Lake House is not required. Sponsors, in addition to Evergreen Trout Unlimited, include the Colorado Division of Wildlife and Evergreen Park and Recreation District.
